Test flight 2
September 1945 piloted by Capt. S.T. Sandecki;
It suffered engine
failure and force landed in a field at Flat Rock MI; at the time of
the accident the aircraft was in the custody of CASU 29, having been
recently transferred by VT97; it was not repaired. -- George
