1959 Cherry Festival

The Cherry Festival held every spring in Traverse City, Michigan was a 5 mile route through the city with performances at every other intersection along the way.  As you can tell from the spectators in shirt sleeves in this 1959 photo it was too hot a day to be wearing blues.
